Nettlewyck's Information Classification and Review Tools
This section describes the tools and capabilities available through Nettlewyck, explaining what each one is intended to do and how it contributes to the information-review experience.
Nettlewyck approaches information work as a set of distinct but related activities: receiving structured records, applying classification to make them navigable, and providing tools that allow users to examine and interpret what is available. Each capability described below supports one or more of these activities.
The tools described here represent the intended design of the service. Not every capability may be available in every account configuration. Where a specific tool is relevant to your use case, the Nettlewyck team can clarify availability during the access process.
How access to the tools unfolds
Submit an enquiry
Use the contact form on the enquiries page to describe your intended use. Include the type of information you need to organise and any relevant context.
Team review
A member of the Nettlewyck team reviews your enquiry and may follow up to clarify your requirements or confirm which tools apply to your situation.
Account configuration
Where access is confirmed, the account is configured to reflect the categories and tools most relevant to your information-review needs.
Active use of the interface
Once configured, you can use the Nettlewyck interface to navigate, classify, and review the information available to your account.
Available capabilities in detail
Automated category assignment
When new records enter the Nettlewyck system, AI-assisted logic assigns each record to one or more predefined categories. This classification makes it possible to browse or filter the dataset without manual tagging. The categories are defined by the service and applied consistently across records of the same type.
Record-by-record examination
The interface allows users to open individual records and examine their full field set. Related records, cross-references, and associated classifications are shown in context, allowing users to understand each entry within the structure of the broader dataset rather than in isolation.
Layered filter and drill-down
Users can apply sequential filters to narrow a large dataset to the subset most relevant to their current session. Each filter step reduces the visible record count without discarding the broader context, so users can widen or narrow their view as needed.
Structured summary panels
Summary panels aggregate key figures and patterns from the available dataset and display them in a consolidated view. These panels are intended to support an initial orientation to the data before detailed record review begins. Summary panels draw from available data and do not produce independent analytical conclusions.
How the review environment is structured
The Nettlewyck review environment is designed around a left-panel navigation area and a main content region. The navigation panel holds the category tree, allowing users to move between classification groups without losing their position in the current record.
The main content region adapts to the current view: list mode shows multiple records at a summary level, while detail mode focuses on a single record and its associated fields. Users can switch between these modes without returning to a top-level screen.
The interface does not require users to understand the underlying data structure before beginning a session. Classification labels and navigational cues are presented at each step to guide the review process naturally.
User support for tools and capabilities
If you have questions about a specific tool or are unsure which capabilities apply to your use case, the Nettlewyck support team is available through the enquiries page. Queries about tool availability, account configuration, and capability scope are all within the team's remit.
Support requests submitted through the interface or the enquiry form are reviewed by a member of the team. The team may ask clarifying questions before providing a response. Response times are not guaranteed.
